The Philips SPC900NC/00 suggested by "-G-" seems interesting. The Quickcam Orbit is not that cheap though (around 130¤ vs 50¤ for the SPC, here in France. Based on the pointers in the last few postings, I bought one usb webcam, compiled/installed the pwcbsd kernel module and pwcview (the config app) and it works really well 8-) I used the SPC900NC device, (usb product ID 0x471:0x329). Je suis bien conscient qu'avec une WB d'un prix supérieur la qualité s'améliorera. Mais dans les rayons des supermarchés, hors la résolution et le débit maxi, rien sur la luminosité minimum...
